It's Harley Time!

Today we took the boys to a picnic lunch at Wills Park and then headed over to, what else? The Harley-Davidson motorcycle event!! They had tents of food, doo-rags, fake hair/helmet attachments, and jewelry made out of automotive parts...what's not to love?!? The boys had a great time looking at all the motorcycles and Todd and I had a great time people watching, whoa, what a group!

Reed looks like he knows what he's doing! Just don't get too comfortable, Fish, I'll be dead and long gone before I let you own one of these bad boys.

Nolan looks like he's already been crusing the strip checking out the cute ladies!

Then, they had a professional freestyle bike rider come out and do some tricks. The photos from this weren't too great, as he was driving so dang fast! The boys really didn't like it at first because we were so close to the noise, but once we backed up onto the hill, they were clapping and cheering him on!

Friends, friends, everywhere!!

Today was a busy day!! We started at the Marietta Farmer's Market with Pete and Charlie. We cruised up and down the (2) isles of veggies, salsas, breads, fruits, and shea butter (?), yea, not sure about the last item. Followed by lunch on the square and then a quick nap before....

Hannah!! The boys were super stoked that their good buddy Hannah and new found friend, Trevor (12 weeks) were able to come over for dinner and play. The three older monkeys did take a bath together, and to their advantage in their teens, there were no pictures taken. Maybe next time!

A Charlie Sandwich!

Tonight we had some great company for dinner. After the boys played in the hot garage, danced around in the living room, and then covered themselves in all things dinner, it was time for a soak in the tub! (I love these blackmail photos!!)

Cheers to Dawn and the last of her 30's!!

C'mon, Dawn! Show your belly like the other kiddos! Whose idea was this anyhow?

Mmmm, yummy cake from mom's retirement party! Can you tell we liked it?!?

More cake please!

Nana, I SWEAR it wasn't my kids that left these marks...I blame Lucy!!!

Boys' First Bikes!!!

Jammy and Grandy came for the weekend and completely WORE the boys out from head to toe! We drove all over Woodstock/Roswell/Marietta to find 2 of the same Spiderman bikes with training wheels for the boys to learn and play on. FYI, the Marietta Wal-Mart has about a 22.5% mark up on their items compared to the Woodstock wally world...and they're just 6 miles apart! Please, someone explain that to me!!

Anyhow, after 2 Wal-Marts, 1 Target and lunch at California Pizza Kitchen, the boys got their dream first bikes and rode to their little hearts' content after their nap. We were really surprised that they picked up on it so quickly. No bumps, bruises, or scrapes today, from the bike ride anyways. Flip flops pose yet another threat of a skinned knee and stubbed toe! Tricky shoes!!!

Who played hookey from work today?

Today, my lovely boss, Johanna Jenkins, decided to treat the staff to a day out at Turner Field. We rescheduled all the patients and headed to the stadium around noon. It's amazing how many great memories the Braves bring back...Sean, remember when Dad and Barry would take us to the Varsity before going to the Braves game at Fulton County Stadium?!?

Today proved to be another great day for a ballgame and the Braves made it a nailbiter in the bottom of the 9th inning. Conrad hit a grandslam to win the game 10-9. Way to go Braves!!

Three Cheers for Nana!

Today Elkins Pointe Middle school celebrated the retirement of 3 of it's most valuable employees. Of course, our Nana was the MVP of the group!!

Mom's BFF, Chris, made this amazing cake that tasted even better than it looked...if that's possible!

There were a couple munchkins, and Burke, that were running around and too busy to pose for the picture, but we were able to wrangle a few. We're so glad to have been there to support you today, Nana!! SLAWBM sent a beautiful bunch of roses to her office and that put a smile on her retiring face.

Workin' at the car wash, yea!

Today was a great day for a run at the Chatachoochee Park followed by hours of fun at the playground. After about 10 tries a piece, Reed figured out how to slide down the Fireman's Pole by himself!! When he finally perfected it, he shouted "bye bye playground" and ran for the car!

Nothing like the absence of child labor laws at the McLure household. I thought I was giving the boys a lesson on how to wash a car properly...the real lesson came in the form of --never leave two boys alone with a bucket of water and 2 shamwows! I only have video of outcome, but they had a blast and my car got a little cleaner.

Our very own...Keely Lou Retton!

Keely did an excellent job at her gymnastics performance on Saturday. From the beam, to the vault, to the uneven bars, she's a Superstar Goodloe! Linde and Leah had their performance earlier in the day and if their mommy loves them at all, she'll post some pictures....hahaha, sorry Dawn!

Gardening...with SOME help...

The boys decided to help me do a little yard work this afternoon, taking a break from their usual basketball, hockey, golf, tennis, and football activities. Nolan was a little more intrigued with the gardening gloves and pulling the ivy out by the roots, each time grunting "ungh!" Reed, on the other hand, had a more exciting way of spending his time...thanks, Fish!

!

Got me a new Target Bootie!

The rain on Monday didn't hinder Jack from going on his therapeutic walk! We fashioned a trendy 2010 white plastic bag with circular red symbols adorning the outer thigh all the while fastening the whole ensamble together with a sand colored vintage elastic piece from the Canine-a-zoic era. Fabulous! Move over Mark Jacobs...there's a new fashionista in town!

Mother's Day at the Park...

We had a glorious day at the park for Mother's Day. Too bad Lindara had to work and miss all the fun stuff!! Thanks to our great families for making our day so wonderful. We LOVE this crazy gang!!

Happy Birthday Charlie Tuttle!

The boys had a great time at Charlie's 1st birthday party. The Mr and Mrs Pete opened up their pool and heated it just a bit, thank goodness!! Reed and Nolan were sooooo excited to swim and even though the outside was a little chilly, the hot tub was nice and warm!

The future Mixed ALTA team!

The Goodloes, McLure's, and Molly and Kathryn Hutchinson.

ACL repair...take 2!

Jackson did very well with his surgery yesterday and spent the night at the hospital for observation purposes. They shaved him, cleaned his teeth, fixed his knee, gave him his shots for the year and slapped on this cool cast!! Yes, we'll sign it and have everyone leave their "Herbie Hancock" as well. He now has about 4 pills to choke down twice a day and against his own will can only go in the yard on a leash for the next few weeks. Nekoh was very upset that his brother was gone all day yesterday...so upset that he tried to leave a little "note" in the babies room, writtten in urine! Great, Nekoh, thanks.

Happy Birthday, Wil!!

I'm sure your mommy is going to post pictures on here like she said she would...right Dardar?!?! I was going to post the one picture I took on my iPhone, but it died and we had to return it. Maybe I'll get it loaded up once Todd transfers all my apps and photos to my new phone.
Anyhow, we hope Wil had the greatest bday ever and we all had a great time hanging out last Sunday.
