Nolan gets a hold of the camera setting on your iPhone? This is just a fraction of the many, many photos he took of his big brother. The rest of them were just completely black images, pictures of the floor, or a finger or toe here and there.

Icicle Man

What's your superpower? I think Todd found his! This used to be the glacier that was melting at the north pole...Todd's 900 degree hands have reduced it to a mere 2 1/5 foot martini stirer. So much for global warming theories; it's really Todd we have to blame!!!

I know why the caged birds sing...

It's because they're getting cabin fever!! Hahaha, this snow week (snowpocolypse-as people are calling it) has driven me to the breaking point. We went to McDonald's! Argh!! Atleast we fed them lunch at home before we let them play in the indoor germground, but they had fun and got to expel all of their cooped up energy. Today, they are nestled sweetly at daycare as I was able to make it into work. Todd still had trouble dodging the icy patches on the roads and came home to work in peace and quiet!

Snowapallooza

Day two, the snow saga continues. After a 6 1/5 inch snowfall on Sunday night, it has stuck around to cancel schools and jobs...and...DAYCARE! We got out for a walk to the horses this morning and then for a quick playdate with the Goodloe's. Then, we were having SO much fun, we decided to go to Kroger! Surprisingly, there was still a few cartons of milk left, but the eggs and bread were scant. Good thing we stocked up on ice cream and beer! What else are you supposed to get when you're snowed in!?!

It's Perry Time!

Evan, Bethany, Trevor and "Cinderella" (Hannah) came over to hang out for the night...good thing they got back home in time just before Winter Storm 2011!! Actually, I think the boys would have been happier if they would have gotten stuck at our house. They LOOOOOVE some Hannah! And, Trevor couldn't be cuter!


Bathtime wasn't the parents idea in this case. Reed started the motion by getting nakey just after dinner and then all 3 of them followed suit...bday suit, that is! After which, Hannah pronounced "the bath is ready!" Ha, so funny!!

Greetings from Down Under!!

Yay! Anita and Romany came for their US visit yesterday all the way from Sydney. So, Reed, Nolan and I wasted no time in jumping in the car to go see them at Sweet Peg's house (Anita's mom) today. The boys had so much fun seeing their auntie and cousin, I had to force them to leave! Anita is sooo brave to make such a lenghty flight with such precious young cargo...I don't know how she did it! Kudos, Anita! Romany is the most perfect, sweet little baby girl and loooooves to sleep; gotta love that. What a good baby!!

Mmmm, dinner's served!

Thanks for a scrumptous dinner tonight, Nana and Poppa! Poppa was hard at work when the photo was taken so we'll get him in on the next one. Boys are asleep with nice full bellies!

I would like to take a minute to boast about the fact that my black thumbs have turned to an ashen-charcoal-greenish-grey to have grown such a beaut! Nothing more to post today, just the lovliness of a simple, yet exquisite flower.

Merry New Year, 2011!!

Whoa, where did 2010 go? Well, now that it's all said and done we only have the next year to look forward to and the new memories to be made. And with so many new year's resolutions to break...who can wait! Exercise more, eat less, spend more time with family; all are great aspirations, but my new year's resolution is to do what makes you happy and find the balance of everything around you. With that, hope this picture finds everyone healthy, wealthy and loved and cheers to a prosperous 2011.
