Feeling beachy

Thursday was the first day that the McLure's were able to join the Goodloe's on the beach for some hot fun in the sun. The girls have us beachside pedicures--inclusive of, Atlantic sand exfoliation and a salt water scrub--keeks and Ryan did they best at a nice sibling game of tag--um, that is, push each other down so hard they eat sand-- and Reed and Nolan tried their hands at the boogie boards--all the while saying "I'm surfin'!". Ah, the beach life. I could see myself getting used to it!

Beachin' it

I love this beach! There's so much of it and isn't crowded at all. You do have to be careful of the cars on the sand, but that's why we send our kids out in front! Ha, jk. The weather has been perfect, until it stormed tonight, but it's supposed to be nicer tomorrow.

As we head down the road to Florida, these boys' faces say it all. We are all tired of riding in the car and can't wait to get tithe beach!!!

Swimmin' at the Tutts

Summer time wouldn't be complete without many a swimming dates at the Tuttle abode. Yesterday, after the puppet show, the boys and their buddy Grant got to indulge in the private pool. Luckily, it wore them out and they hit the hay completely on their own! Nolan even said "I think I need to go take a long nap on my bed!"

Rapunzel

Today, our buddy Grant came to hang out while the dad's went to play golf. I took the three boys and met Linde, Leah and Keely at the theater to go see Rapunzel. I'm not sure if I get sister/friend of the year or if I'm just crazy! So far, so good. The kids are so excited!!!!

Last night, we took Poppa out for his bday/father's day gift of dinner and Neil Diamond! The concert was at Philips Arena downtown so we stopped for a bite at Maggiano's. Molte bene! Neil put on an amazing show (for a 71-year-old) and we all just had a blast singing all the old great hits we grew up listening to.

Monday, Nana and Poppa braved the twin storm at their house while Todd and I worked. They went to their favorite dining establishment (chic Olay), hit the driving range and ran round and round. It must not have been too bad because they've been invited back next week! Wink, wink! Thanks camp gramps!!!

Let's go to the lake, lake!

Thanks McIntyre's for inviting us all out on the boat this past weekend. We had a blast and the boys were even brave enough to jump off the boat! They were certainly tuckered out after a long day, and what fabulous weather! We couldn't have asked for a better day.
