Happy 6th Bday, Nekoh!

Sooo, Nekoh's birthday was Monday, and I'm just now posting the news! Anyhoo, he had a great day and outside of his usual sleeping, barking at neighbors, and tearing up the kids' toys, he took naps, vocalized loudly that people were outside, and tenderly lovingly placed delicate teeth marks in a few Thomas Trains. Wow, the life of a dog. Although, last night he and Jackson were in the deep woods in our yard, doing only Dog knows what, and it's only safe to assume we're going to see some more "Lost Cat" posters in the neighborhood.

31cent scoop night at Baskin Robbins!? Are you kidding me? I don't remember where/when/how I heard about this fine establishment practically BEGGING me to come to their store to GIVE me free ice cream, but it's been on my calendar for about a month! It's a good thing (for me) that there are 2 stores on my way home from work and another one right next to the Moe's that we ate dinner at...ok, so maybe we planned it that way, regardless, I say more 31cent nights, please!

Welcome to the 5 minutes when Mommie leaves the room to cook dinner...the cushions come off the couch, the shoes fly off their feet, and they jump to Old School Funk music on XM radio!

This is what happens when you clean your garage out once a year!! You acquire inhabitants that DON'T PAY RENT!! I found this little nest of baby "house wrens" cozied up in the open tool box that has been obviously unused. After I cleaned out the garage, I put the little bird house back on the shelves so all 4 babies won't die on my behalf. Later tonight I went out to check on them and the mom was in the nest taking care of her babes. Awe! 2 kids, 2 dogs, 5 birds...what's next? I've always wanted a fainting goat, maybe that'll be my next acquisition!

Cinny Bunn!!! Whoa, what a match. I really don't know how to play a match in 2 sets. I'd like to thank the Tennis Gods that instilled a 3rd set to allow me to work out my bad shots! Thanks to Dawn, Keely, Linde, Leah, Jammy, Grandy, Reed, Nolan, Todd and Doc for coming out to watch the grudge match. It was a beautiful day to play and I really got my money's worth in the almost 3 hour match.
