Todd took the boys to Athens this weekend to hang out with their favorite Jammy and Grandy and do all the fun things Athens has to offer. They visited friends, toured around town, and even got to go to a UGA baseball game! I know they are wearing Jammy and Grandy out...and each one of them is loving every minute of it :o).
Here they are "reeling" in Grandy from his fishing boat. No hooks on their line, thank goodness! That would be one crazy catch!

Twinsie Pillow Pet Faces
I love when the boys discover "new" toys...or ones they've forgotten about. These face masks have been in their toy tubs for months and they are just now finding and LOVING them! They slept with them on their heads all night. I only wish I had taken a picture of their hair this morning. Stinkin' cute animals!!!

Spring Fever
Whoa, can I just say WHOA! What great weather in February! Please, say this is a sign of times to come and we are through with winter. 70+ degrees and beautifully, clear, blue and bright day...we should be thanking the dirty south for it's glorious weather!! Just think of the suckers in north that are still having to deal with snow. We played at the park, had a picnic, went to a new yummy ice cream store, went to another park, then to pizza then ended the awesome day with a movie. The boys are WIPED out, and so are we!

Fun in the Big A
The boys played hookey from big boy school today and we met some friends in Atlanta at the Imagine It children's museum. They got to go fishing...
ride a big bronze camel after learing about Timbucktu...
practice their future in highway overpass graffitti...
play with their new buddie, Jake, at Centennial playground...
and walk the big city streets of downtown...
all before crashing hard in the car on the way home. Whoa, what a day! When asked if they had fun, their general reply is "yes, I want to go to it again, please, mommie!" Ah, music to my ears!! I just love opening these two little sponges to new and exciting things to do in and around Atlanta. Oh, and we're not even CLOSE to finished!

Fairy Target Mother
As most everyone in my general vicinity knows...I love me some TARGET! And there's nothing more that I love than a Target gift card. One nice little "older lady" walked right up to me in the pasta isle and told me she won't be able to use her gift card and wanted me to have it. What is this you say?!?! You can't use it?!?! Are you going to MARS and won't be in need of anything a human being can possibly use for the next 568 years?! That's just crazy talk. Well, as you can see, I happily accepted it and thanked her about a million times. It's the little things in life that make me happy :o)

Saturday night's allright
Good times with the Gwinett Gladiators were had by all on Jersey night this past weekend. The boys will have to grow into their new hockey uniforms....maybe by the time they are 12!?!?
They LOVED seeing Maximus the mascot as he was about to race past them but stopped for a quick picture.
We had to remind the boys we were at a hockey game and not a "popcorn and dippin' dots" party. Nolan did a great job keeping the beat on the chants and music and Reed cried when the players got into a scuffle! Good memories!

Home Depot woodshop #1
Apparently, Home Depot has a "kids craft" on the first Saturday of every month. The Goodloe's have been going to them for ages; ever since Ryan could hold a hammer. This was Reed and Nolan's first crack at the adventure and they had a great time. We're glad Burke found an apron that fits!!
Big cousin, Keeks, helped Reed put the nails in the shelf. She also helped him put his stickers on his project...in the exact same spots she had hers. Reed didn't mind at all, he LOVES his Keekers!!
Ryan was a big help with Nolan. But, once Nolan had the chance to hit the hammer on the nail, he did it all by himself!
Everyone got an apron (that didn't have one already), a pin that shows what workshop they came to, and a certificate along with their project to take home. Altogether a fun Saturday morning!

Happy (day-late) Birthday, JAMMY!!!!
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dearest Jammy!!! Happy birthday to you!!!
Sorry your birthday blog post is a day late. I have no excuse other than laziness and the couch sucked me in last night and wouldn't allow me to be productive.
Anyhoo, we hope you had the best 39th birthday to date and love you very much!
