Today was a gorgeous day outside....perfect southern spring day. I picked the boys up from daycare early and headed to our new playground with them, Todd to join us later. Then, we had a semi-edible mexican feast at La Parilla and I don't know if Dawn knew we were there and wanted me to bring her home a marg, but she kept calling and texting like her panties were on fire! I finally answered on the 4th call and she asked if she could bring her clan over to our house for bathtime as their pipes had been riddled with brown water. Eeeew! This kind of thing happens from time to time in the 'Stock, not really sure why. Anyhoo, we decided to conserve a bit of water and filled the tub with as many kiddos as we could! (Wait til you see the picture of Dawn, Burke, Todd and Cinny...oh, noooo, I just threw up in my mouth).

Baby Trevor Perry
Sunday morning we packed up the kids and a few breakfast treats to take to the Perry's house. Trevor Bentley Perry was born about 4 weeks early and is such a cute and sweet little peanut!!
Needless to say, the Perry world has been turned on it's head and mom and dad are doing their best to get some much needed rest. Overall, they're quite an awesome set o-rents and we love hanging out with them.
They have a 3 year old beauty of a girl named "Hannah-n" as the boys say. The three of them took turns running circles around the house, shoving cookies into their mouths by the truckload, coloring on each other with magic markers and....yes, dressing up like little princesses, um, I mean 1 princess and 2 handsome princes!!

Ok, guys! I'm going to change the name of this blog to "Twin boys of Woodstock in search of their long lost relatives" if someone else doesn't post something!!! Just kidding, I'm sure everyone's got all sorts of other things going on in their lives, so you'll just have to put up with listening to us :o)
Today our neighbourhood had their annual easter egg hunt/photo op with a large rabbit/farm animal petting zoo/opening of new playground/fun for all. Jammy and Grandy got to see their boys in action running around...uh, more or less just watching their twin grandsons watch other kids snatch up all the eggs. If they had told me there was free candy in those eggs, I'd be pushing through the 2-3 year olds and grabbing them up for myself! But, the boys just grabbed a few and seemed content with a couple of stickers and smartie or two. Charlie and the Pete's came for the festivities seeing as they don't have the luxury of...NEIGHBORS!! The baby goats took a liking to Charlie's fingers as mom and dad plopped him down at the animal cage.
Later today, we took them to KidsKutz for professional haircut #2 (no pictures this time, sorry!) and then out for their first experience at a hibachi restaurant, of which they've dubbed "big fire". Thank goodness the hostess sat us at a grill with a mother and her 2 year old b/c when the boys got a hold of their utensils, they started playing the drums with them on their plates. Is this why most parents get sitters for weekend nights? Well, once the instruments were stripped from them and the show began, they were mesmerized and sat perfectly still for the next hour and some change. They loved it!

Ear-igation
Good Friday evening to you all!
Today, we took Reed to his ENT for a follow-up visit from his previous surgery of having his tubes removed. Since we've had them taken out, we've seen more green, boogery, snotty drainage than we've seen all year. It's been nasty, up until the last few days...and recently, it's looked great! (comparatively speaking).
The Dr did her job and took a look down his hearing holes, and then quitely migrated us to the "microscope room." This is the place you don't want to end up...if you have a squirmy, untrusting child. There are more appliances, scissor type things, and bottles of grandpa's cough syrup than you can shake a stick at!
Luckily, Reed is a very compliant patient and allowed the doc to stick an anteater looking vaccum down his ear canal and she sucked out a bunch of garbage. Mmmm, yummy!
Now she's got him on a month's worth of Bactrim and some ear "puffs" that you have to get from a presumably mad scientist, oh and the hopes of "we'll see what happens!" I didn't go to med school, but I'm pretty sure I can hop a kid up on just about anything and say "let's just see what happens!!" We're just ready for this to be over and hope the warm spring/summer will help clear it up!

The Reason for this BLOG
Welcome!!
Hello there family, friends, & fellow medicated persons!! Welcome to the Halloran blog that will be filled with fun, laughter, stories, and CANCER!?!?!
Really, Dad, Cancer!?!? Is that the way to get the attention of your 3 kids, 3 in-laws, 9 grandkids and 4, no, make that 3 (may buddha rest Lexi's soul) dogs!?
Needless to say, we do have our normal Sunday celebrations that sometimes run amuck with 9 kids screaming, yelling, and throwing things...specifically aimed at the rather large collection of over-priced porcelin chucky dolls. But, there's never enough time to see what's going on on a day to day basis. We got some funny peeps in our cribs and stories need to be shared!
So, we'll all get the login and password and from time to time, when there's something going on, feel free to share it with the rest of the world.
Much love to all of you lunatics!!
